From the start you could tell it was all about making as much money as quickly as possible.., instead of using an ‘electric eel’ to clear the line like I’d ask for, (it only has storm water in the pipe) they walked around and said the first step is put a camera down the line.., when I asked the price they could not even say the number, they just showed me the price on an iPad, it was over $500 dollars…, what a rip off…,definitely a dodgy company So we’ve hired an ‘eel’ from kennards for $131 dollars and fixed the problem no camera was needed 🤭 and if we did need a camera it’s only just over $200.. turbo plumbing is definitely about making first And it’s no use using a camera if line is blocked 🤪another plumber just told me So don’t waste your time or money on this company they are clearly only about taking your money as quickly as soon as possible and as much as possible

This is the second time that Murdo has come to fix our plumbing issues that involved a leaky toilet and excessive water pressure in the pipes. Murdo was very patient to explain the problems at hand and recommended a few options including replacing our toilet and installing a pressure limiting valve. Although a very costly job, I truly appreciate the professionalism for the work completed.

This was 2nd use of Turbo Plumbing. They fixed a few taps inside and out for my home and explained the problems with each. They were mindful of removing work shoes when entering my home and provide quotes for all work to be undertaken so I was aware upfront. They also undertook a check of all my water utilities and presented pictures and recommendations of potential future problems and costs to repair. Dave & Julie

I had a water leak somewhere. They were very professional, I was kept well informed, polite easy to talk to. They were able to find the leak, fixed and did some inside work as well. All in all from first visit to last was 4 working days. Will use them again, not I hope for a water leak.

We've had Gavin out a couple of times who was excellent for our storm water issues. Now we've had the pleasure of Mitchell, who replaced two toilets, kitchen mixer tap, basin taps, laundry taps & shower taps. He was very thorough & worked hard having a late lunch as a result. He also cleaned up afterwards so you barely knew he'd been here other than the nice new taps & toilets. Highly recommend this plumbing team.

Extremely pushy salespeople, which was surprising from a plumber. They came to give a quote on replacing a hot water system, but after looking at it wouldn't give a quote until after I paid for a $250 diagnosis fee. When I told them I wouldn't agree to a fee until I knew the whole cost, Gavin spent a good long while trying to pressure me into it. I told him to leave it at least a half dozen times before he actually gave up. And decent plumber should have a fair idea how much a job like this is going to cost, so I believe that this strategy is a way to milk easy money out of customers before hitting them with an outrageous quote, where they are then forced to accept it or lose their $250.

Very happy with the service from Gavin and Lachlan. They were out to look at my hot water system within a couple of hours of my call and we're back the next morning to replace the unit. Both were very helpful and polite. We've signed up to their membership which I was a little apprehensive of at first, but I'm hopping should help us avoid major plumbing issues in the future.

Called Turbo Plumbing to fix a worn kitchen tap which was replaced by Mitch and Murdo. These guys were exemplary, very efficient, kept us in the loop of what was needed before, during and after the job was complete. Quick response time, reasonable rates, altogether a pleasant experience. These guys have been our "plumber's" choice now for many years, and have no hesitation in giving Turbo a very high recommendation.

I requested a cctv camera inspection this morning, needed before continuing with a blocked stormwater pipe diagnosis and repair job. Gavin fitted the inspection into his busy day and arrived in the afternoon. He arrived on time, was upfront and competative with his pricing, was efficient and courteous and provided excellent service.

Just a note, I spoke to Gavin and he refused to give a rough estimate quote for eg high pressure drain clean. I felt he became quite defensive. I decided not to work with them.

I chose Turbo Plumbing Solutions after seeing several recommendations on Facebook and their YouTube channel, but my experience was quite disappointing. They advised they could only inspect a short section of my drain (under 10m) and said anything beyond that had to go through council — something I was already sceptical about. They were on site for around 1 hour and 15 minutes and charged $1100, even after applying a $90 “membership discount.” For that price, the issue remained completely unresolved, and I was left feeling very let down by the value for money. Also according to Google he’s based 5 mins from where I live so it’s not travel time. After waiting two weeks for the council’s response, I was told the matter was actually private — which aligned with my original concern. I then engaged another plumber who spent more time, thoroughly investigated the issue, fixed the problem, and charged roughly half the price. Overall, I did not feel I received accurate advice or fair pricing (given my problem still remained), and I would not use this company again based on this experience.

Two stars - based primarily on VALUE for MONEY There is apparently $1711.91 worth of work here all connected to existing services any the only parts supplied by Turbo was copper pipe & crimp fittings, s bend trap and tube and fixings for drain, 3x small isolation taps and 3 cover plates. Be your own judge.

Gavin turned up inside the agreed time window and was very professional talking me through the job. Unfortunately he wasn't able to locate the services with his equipment which was presenting him with interference, so he only charged me the initial callout fee. Gavin also provided me with details of a dedicated Service Locator, who did the job next day with his more specialist equipment.
